Everything stays inside your phone.** Our app is engineered with a strict local-first design philosophy. We do not transmit or store your session logs, custom timings, daily reminders, or breathing performance parameters on remote servers.

If you choose to sync your data with Apple Health, we read and write mindfulness minutes directly via the iOS HealthKit framework. This data resides solely on your physical device and your personal iCloud backup (if configured).

2. How We Use Data

Any local data processed by the Breath application is used exclusively to power the app features:

• Calculating and displaying session logs (e.g., duration, number of cycles).
• Triggering local reminder notifications at your chosen scheduled times.
• Showing streaks and historical progress to help you form a habit.
• Integrating and synchronizing session results with Apple Health databases on iOS.

We do not sell, rent, license, or share your somatic data with any third-party advertising companies or data brokers.
